Forms of Copywriting

Copywriting is defined as the process of writing the words that promote a person, business, opinion, or idea. Some people use the word 'copywriter' to refer specifically to those who create concepts and content for advertisements.

There are many forms of copywriting that you need to know:
  • Online advertisements
    Online advertising is a form of marketing and advertising which uses the internet to deliver promotional marketing messages to consumers.

  • Emails
    Email marketing is the act of sending a commercial message, typically to a group of people, using email.

  • Television and radio commercial scripts and jingles
    It is a form of advertising in which goods, services, organizations, ideas, etc. are promoted via the television or radio.

  • Press releases
    Press releases is a written or recorded communication directed at members of the news media for the purpose of announcing something ostensibly newsworthy.

  • Billboards
    A billboard is a large outdoor advertising structure, typically found in high-traffic areas such as alongside busy roads.

  • Online and offline brochures, leaflets and catalogues
    A common marketing tool used to advertise a service or product offering. It takes form of a pamphlet or flyer that is used to distribute information about something.

  • Social media
    Social media marketing is the use of social media platforms and websites to promote a product or service.
